Red Tricycle founder Jacqui Boland started her media career working for glossy magazines in San Francisco and New York at Meredith Corp., Miller Publishing and Reed Elsevier. She helped launch a slew of magazines including Breathe, Luxury Homes and Marin at Home. Jessica Campbell is the owner of Spa Scotta, a premiere boutique day spa in Seattle.  A graduate of Michigan State University, Campbell has been a licensed, practicing esthetician since joining the spa as its first employee in 1998.  Campbell worked her way up, learned the spa business, and later became the Spa Director.  In 2006, she purchased Spa Scotta, and in January of 2008 she relocated the spa from University Village to a larger space across the street at the Northcut Landing.  A savvy business woman who has an innate sense of what people want to experience at a spa, Campbell created and launched a one-of-a-kind e-commerce website, bringing the spa experience directly to guests' homes.  A proponent of women and independently-owned businesses, Spa Scotta currently works with and supports a variety of businesses in the Seattle area.

Ann Espo's career path has taken several twists and turns over the years. Shelly Farnham/ Founder and Social Architect at Waggle Labs
Shelly is an expert in building and evaluating innovative social technologies designed to enhance community, social networks, communication, identity, social coordination, and knowledge sharing. After receiving her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Washington, she spent seven years as a Researcher in the Social Computing and Community Technologies groups at Microsoft Research, where she performed user research and implemented social computing prototypes (including Personal Map, Connections, Wallop, Slam) leading to numerous patents and published papers. Lara Eve Feltin/ Co Founder Biznik
Lara Feltin graduated from the University of Washington with art and art history degrees in 1994. With experience in oil painting, photography and digital design, she pursued the path of an independent contractor, freelancing in graphic design, photography, and creative direction under the name Studio LEaF. In 2000 she began photographing babies and young children on black and white film, hand printing the silver gelatin prints. Studio LEaF Fine Art Photography continued to grow for five years until 2005, when along with her husband Dan McComb, she co-founded Biznik (www.biznik.com) , a business networking community that supports the growth and profitability of local independent business owners.
